Katrina Best Hughes

I attended BYU and majored in graphic design and illustration. Moved to St. Louis for Husbands grad school. After grad school moved to Grand Rapids, MI for husbands one year internship. Then moved on to Scottsdale, then again to Phoenix, AZ. Finally moved back to Utah twelve years ago. I've Spent most of my time doing what the rest of you do-managing the home, family, and yard. My focus is my family.
After experiencing "life" and some serious challenges, I have found much of my time now is spent being a "coach" to women in crisis. This has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Despite real tough stuff, there are so many good things -so grateful for it all. I can't wait to see all your faces and hear your stories.

There are so many funny memories I have but most would cause embarrassment so I won't mention them. I think Karl Weenig topped the most creative of all my dates when we had dinner in the Chem Lab.

There was one day that I understood how to do the Algebra problems when Rose Ann Taylor didn't and I felt pretty good about myself. Sadly, I went back to inferior math-brained the remaining year.
I have happy memories staying up all night sewing the dyed orange sheets together in the gym to make the "T" to put on the mountain. My son Spencer followed this tradition at Lone Peak High School in Highland. However, He had to "sneak" in the middle of the night to put the "LP" on the mountain-two years in a row.
So many fun memories. I just have to say thanks to all of you for making it great.
